Apply for study permit

Bring your spouse and dependants
Often, you can bring your spouse and dependents with you while you study. They may be eligible for their own work permit or study permit.
Work while studying
During your time as a full-time student, you can work off campus for 20 hours per week or on campus for 40 hours. During your summer break when school is off, you can work full-time until school resume. This allows students to earn money for their living expenses
PGWP- Post Graduate work permit
Following graduation, many programs qualify for PGWP. These allow you to work in your field after graduation while gaining important Canadian work experience that can be used towards attaining permanent resident status.
PNP- Provincial nominee program International graduate category
Many provinces also have special immigration programs through PNP for graduates, which can make it much easier to apply for permanent residency.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To obtain a study permit in Canada, it is essential to receive an acceptance letter from a DLI (Designated Learning Institute). Additionally, you must demonstrate sufficient finances to cover tuition, living expenses, and return transportation for the first year. It’s crucial for students to convince Canadian immigration authorities, such as those informed by arcan immigration, that they will leave the country at the end of the study permit period. Applicants must also be admissible to Canada, which may involve police record checks and/or medical examinations. A valid passport or travel document is necessary. For programs shorter than six months, only a visitor visa is required; no study permit is needed.
FINANCES
When applying for a Canadian study permit, applicants must prove they can financially support themselves and, if applicable, their accompanying family members while in Canada. Financial evidence for a study permit can be shown through various means: having a Canadian bank account if money has been transferred to Canada, obtaining a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) from a Canadian financial institution that participates, or providing proof of a student loan from a bank, along with bank statements from the last four months or a bank draft convertible to Canadian dollars. If you are awarded a scholarship or enrolled in a Canadian-funded educational program, you need to provide evidence of tuition and living costs, a letter from the institution or individual providing funds, and/or proof of financing from within Canada, which is where arq may assist you.
